Hey!

Here we are again, with some new features, to not lose the momentum :-)

* Notifications and links to users mentioned in wish comments *

From now on you can mention your contacts when adding comments and they will receive a notification in their email telling them that they were mentioned, just in case they want add some comments as well to the thread

And it’s very easy. You only have to write @ followed by the first letters from your contact nick, and we will show you the nicknames for you contacts that are similar, in a list, so you can select them directly from there. That way you don’t have to remember all your contacts nicknames.

Of course, this kind of notification can be disabled if you want from the “Notifications” section that you will find if you go to the “Settings” option in the top-menu.

* Additional notes when you add a wish *

We’ve got some request from you about being able to add some additional notes when adding a wish, to, for example, specify the color, size, etc. to reduce que chance to return/change the presents you get ;-)

So, now you have the posibility to do it, from the website and from the bookmarklet, using the “Additional notes” field in the form. This info will appear then in the wish details page.

Uwish, wishlisting the social way

Hi all!!

After some months of less work than we would like on Uwish, we have some news.

Here we have some of the news features/changes:

*Activity from your contacts*

From now on you won’t miss what your contacts are doing at Uwish. Is not only that you can see their wishes but also their comments, who they follow, their copied wishes and, of course, if they got any of the wishes in their lists.

*Invite your contacts from Gmail*

What could you do without your friends at Uwish. The more contacts you have, the more ideas you get for your own wishes, more advices about the wishes they already have or simply the more possibilities you have to get the presents you really want.

So, now you can easily invite to the friends you want to follow at Uwish from your Google Mail contacts.

*Users wishes RSS feed*

If you want to be up-to-date about the present that, for example, your girlfriend wants, but you don’t have enough time to visit Uwish frequently (a pity :-( ), we make it easier now. Just add her RSS feed to your favorite News reader, and you will instantly now the prefect gift for her birthday.

You will find the link to her RSS in the blue icon besides her name in her user profile page.

*Edit copied wishes*

One of the most popular features is here, and it’s that nuw you can edit your copied wishes.

You can change the list the wish belongs to and also edit the URL and the price. What you can’t do is to change the name or the photo, to respect the original wish.

And that’s it by now (not bad, at least for us)
